Volleyball Recap: Johnston City Falls to Frankfort in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Johnston City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Frankfort Redbirds by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Redbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Johnston City sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 24-26, 25-23.

Looking ahead, Johnston City will venture away from home to square off against Zeigler-Royalton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frankfort, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Hamilton County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
