Basketball Recap: Keota Comes Up Short

Keota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Webbers Falls Warriors 50-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-31 last Wednesday.

Keota's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Webbers Falls, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Keota will take on Weleetka at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Weleetka's defense has only allowed 26.9 points per game this season, so Keota's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Webbers Falls, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Porum at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
