Baseball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland lost against Columbia on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scots fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 7-6. The Scots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Columbia, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will challenge White Swan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something the Scots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Columbia, they will face off against Waitsburg/Prescott at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
