Baseball Game Preview: Oshkosh North Spartans vs. Neenah Rockets

Oshkosh North is 2-8 against Neenah since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Oshkosh North's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Wausau West, sneaking past 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Neenah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Kimberly, falling 6-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Oshkosh North's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Neenah, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Oshkosh North took their win against Neenah in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Rockets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
