Baseball Recap: Borger Comes Up Short

Borger was the 8-4 winner over Palo Duro when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Borger Bulldogs fell 9-4 to the Palo Duro Dons on Friday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Borger saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Borger's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Palo Duro, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

While Borger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
