Basketball Recap: Northeastern Triumphs

Northeastern won the last time they faced Greenon, and things went their way on Monday too. The Northeastern Jets narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Greenon Knights 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jets have posted since December 9, 2023.

The victory got Northeastern back to even at 1-1. As for Greenon, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeastern will face off against Fairbanks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Madison Plains at 7:30 p.m.
