Soccer Game Preview: Medical Lake vs. Cashmere

The Medical Lake Cardinals will square off against the Cashmere Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Medical Lake has six straight victories, Cashmere has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Medical Lake will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Northwest Christian School, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals skirted past the Crusaders 2-1. The game was the first time Medical Lake have beaten Northwest Christian School on their pitch since April 16, 2024.

Meanwhile, Cashmere didn't have quite enough to beat Connell on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

Medical Lake pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four contests. As for Cashmere, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8-1.
