Basketball Recap: Lincolnton Wolves vs. East Burke Cavaliers

After flying high against West Caldwell last Tuesday, Lincolnton came back down to earth. The Lincolnton Wolves were beaten by the East Burke Cavaliers 88-55 on Friday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the loss, Lincolnton still got an impressive performance from Sarah Rhyne, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Rhyne a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Johnson, who posted 12 points.
