There's no place like home for Miller, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past the Ray Texans with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 74-57. The win was all the more spectacular given the Buccaneers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 851st, while the Texans are ranked 330th).

Miller's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but George Simmons led the charge by going 6 for 13 on his way to 16 points and three steals. Corey Holmes was another key player, going 6 of 15 en route to 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Miller smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Miller's record now sits at 11-15. As for Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-12.
