Baseball Recap: Roane County Takes a Loss

Roane County managed to slip by Wirt County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders lost 8-1 to the Tigers on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Raiders have suffered since April 12, 2025.

Roane County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Byron Taylor, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Roane County and nudges their season record down to 10-12. As for Wirt County, their record is now 10-11.
