Volleyball Recap: Wisconsin Dells Comes Up Short

Wisconsin Dells lost against Onalaska back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chiefs fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-1. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Piper Waterman paced Wisconsin Dells' offense, picking up seven kills. Waterman got some help from Isabelle Johnson and her 17 assists. Waterman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Eva Toteva, each putting up two.

Wisconsin Dells' defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Onalaska, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Wisconsin Dells wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Waupun on the 27th. As for Onalaska, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Edgewood on the 27th.
