Soccer Recap: Iroquois Falls to Lockport in First Game of Season

Iroquois unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Lockport Lions on Wednesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Iroquois couldn't quite close it out.

Iroquois didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against North Tonawanda on the 28th. As for Lockport, they will head out to square off against Royalton-Hartland at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
