There's no place like home for the Chanhassen Storm, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-53 victory over Farmington on Monday. That's another feather in the cap for Chanhassen, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chanhassen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kate Arnold, who scored 23 points along with 8 rebounds. The match was Arnold's third in a row with at least ten points. Lauren Arnold was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
Chanhassen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Farmington, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chanhassen won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Elk River at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Elk River presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chanhassen in Minnesota (Elk River is ranked 35th, while Chanhassen is ranked 131st).
