Basketball Recap: Choudrant Comes Up Short

Choudrant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 78-58 to the Simsboro Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-49 back in November of 2024.

Choudrant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Simsboro, they moved to 10-11 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Choudrant will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Claiborne Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Simsboro, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 89-49 victory against Weston on the 14th.
