Walker had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Denham Springs Yellowjackets. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly four runs.

Walker pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Denham Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Walker will square off against Northlake Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Denham Springs, they will challenge St. Amant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
