Soccer Game Preview: Flagstaff vs. Boulder Creek

The Flagstaff Eagles will take on the Boulder Creek Jaguars at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Flagstaff will be strutting in after a victory while Boulder Creek will be coming in after a loss.

Flagstaff is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Lee Williams onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Despite a strong season so far, Boulder Creek has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 5-2 to Pinnacle on Wednesday. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Flagstaff has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five matches. As for Boulder Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
