Basketball Recap: Spur Comes Up Short

Spur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 70-34 loss at the hands of the Paducah Dragons. The Bulldogs lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 61-57 score last time.

Spur's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Paducah, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Spur will face off against Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. As for Paducah, they will challenge Guthrie at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
