Softball Recap: Hanford's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hanford entered their tilt with Tulare Western on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Bullpups: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in April, they had to take a 12-6 defeat.

Kayleigh Roberts spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Jenna Douthat was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Jazzmyn Rojas was another key player, going 4-for-5 with six RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hanford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Hanford's win bumped their record up to 9-13-2. As for Tulare Western, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-9-1.
