Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Hilton Head Christian Academy lost against John Paul II last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles took a hard 58-44 fall against the John Paul II Golden Warrriors.

Despite the loss, Hilton Head Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Ethan Foster, who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Killian Gibson, who earned ten points.

Leading John Paul II to victory were Nicholai Atkinson and Daniel Godsun. Atkinson went 7-for-9 en route to 15 points, while Godsun went 5-for-11 to rack up 16 points. Sean Phalen was another key player, putting up nine points.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for John Paul II, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Hilton Head Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-28 defeat against Porter-Gaud on the 15th. As for John Paul II, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-59 victory against Wilson Hall on the 8th.
