Volleyball Recap: Hibriten Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Hibriten came up short against Patton, falling 3-0. Hibriten just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row.

While Hibriten ultimately came up short, they really made Patton work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-19.

Hibriten's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Patton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hibriten is set to face off against their familiar foe West Caldwell at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Patton will square off against rival Chase at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
