Softball Recap: Hamburg Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hamburg entered their tilt with Antietam on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Mountaineers get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mountaineers, too.

Hamburg's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Antietam, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamburg will welcome Blue Mountain at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hawks 4.1, the Eagles 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Antietam, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandywine Heights Area at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
