Soccer Game Preview: Central Woodstock vs. Stonewall Jackson

The Central Woodstock Falcons will take on the Stonewall Jackson Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Woodstock will be strutting in after a win while Stonewall Jackson will be coming in after a loss.

Stonewall Jackson will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Central Woodstock extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on Page County with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering Central Woodstock have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Stonewall Jackson didn't have quite enough to beat Strasburg on Monday and fell 4-3.

Stonewall Jackson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-1 record this season. As for Central Woodstock, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
