Baseball Recap: Sharpstown Takes a Loss

Sharpstown fell victim to Galena Park and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 12-0 to the Yellowjackets. The Apollos have struggled against the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Sharpstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Galena Park, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sharpstown is set to face off against their familiar foe Westbury at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Galena Park will square off against rival Carnegie Vanguard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
