Basketball Recap: Zion-Benton Comes Up Short

Zion-Benton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Warren Township Blue Devils, falling 82-44. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-53 back in January.

Zion-Benton's record is now 7-20. As for Warren Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Zion-Benton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Zion-Benton is facing Carmel at the right time seeing as Carmel is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Warren Township, they will challenge Grant Community at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Warren Township's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests.
