Softball Recap: St. Charles Pirates vs. Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights
St. Charles was the 4-2 winner over Incarnate Word Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Charles Pirates took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Incarnate Word Academy Red Knights on Thursday.
St. Charles now has a losing record at 9-10-1. As for Incarnate Word Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.
St. Charles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Incarnate Word Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fort Zumwalt East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Incarnate Word Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
