Basketball Recap: King's Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

If King's Ridge Christian was riding high fresh off their 74-35 takedown of The Weber School last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King's Ridge Christian Tigers fell to the Mount Paran Christian Eagles 72-66. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 82-74.

Mount Paran Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christopher Park, who went 9 of 15 to rack up 26 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Park is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Goines, who went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and four steals.

King's Ridge Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Mount Paran Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

King's Ridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mount Paran Christian, they have already played their next contest, a 79-70 win against Walker on the 11th.
