Softball Recap: North Marion Comes Up Short

North Marion was the 12-2 winner over Bridgeport when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies fell 12-8 to the Indians on Friday.

Kinlee Hess made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bridgeport, they moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, North Marion will take on Brooke at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bruins will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Bridgeport, they will challenge Lewis County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
