Basketball Recap: Northwood-Kensett Comes Up Short

Northwood-Kensett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-14 loss at the hands of the North Union Warriors. The Vikings lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 52-47 score last time.

Northwood-Kensett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for North Union, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

Northwood-Kensett has already played their next matchup (against Lake Mills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-35 victory against West Hancock on the 24th.
