Baseball Game Preview: Midland Valley Mustangs vs. Central Eagles

The Midland Valley Mustangs will challenge the Central Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Midland Valley's offense. They came up short against Paul VI on Wednesday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Midland Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Turner Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-1 to Fort Mill. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cody Branham was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Midland Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
