Baseball Recap: Bodine Beats Sankofa Freedom Academy for Their Third Straight Victory

Bodine put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Sankofa Freedom Academy Warriors a 12-0 shutout. Bodine has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Sankofa Freedom Academy, too.

Bodine got a massive performance out of Jaydn Parker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Parker a new career-high. Thomas Becker was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.

Bodine's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bodine will welcome High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on April 2. As for Sankofa Freedom Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
