Plattsburgh waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the AuSable Valley Patriots. That looming 17-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hornets yet this season.

Braeden Calkins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Ryan Brown was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and two RBI.

Plattsburgh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Plattsburgh's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for AuSable Valley, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
