Mica Mountain skates past Walden Grove with ease

The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Walden Grove 77-21 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Mica Mountain has managed all season.

Leading Mica Mountain to victory were Isabella Webb and Kayla Mathie. Webb scored 16 points along with four steals, while Mathie scored 17 points along with five steals. Webb hasn't dropped below 15points for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Ceraya Grace-Bandy, who scored 13 points.

Mica Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Walden Grove, they bumped their record down to 3-12 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Mica Mountain will take on Douglas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walden Grove, they will head out on the road to face off against Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amphitheater is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
