Baseball Recap: Wamego Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Wamego's offense. They fell just short of the Rock Creek Mustangs by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wamego now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rock Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Wamego will face off against Clay Center on Monday. This will be the Red Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rock Creek, they will challenge Abilene on Tuesday.
