Softball Recap: Anoka Comes Up Short

Anoka's last matchup with Centennial could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Tornadoes lost 6-0 to the Cougars. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 11, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Anoka's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Anoka will head out to square off against Rocori at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Anthony Village at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
