Volleyball Game Preview: Tolleson Wolverines vs. Sunrise Mountain Mustangs + Official Tickets

The Tolleson Wolverines will head out on the road to square off against the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Tolleson turned things around against Apollo on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wolverines not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Sunrise Mountain got the win against Lake Havasu on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Tolleson's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Sunrise Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 27-3.

Tolleson might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Sunrise Mountain in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
