Recap: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Centennial Rams
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Peetz Bulldogs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 60-41 victory over the Rams. Winning may never get old, but Peetz sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Aiden Hill had a dynamite game for Peetz, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Noah Naegele, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Peetz is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-9.
Peetz and Genoa-Hugo/Karval will face off at 1:00 p.m. on March 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Peetz knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Genoa-Hugo/Karval likes a good challenge. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
