Basketball Recap: Clarksville Christian Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Clarksville Christian got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy Archers by a score of 57-47 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Centurions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah Raby, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 21 points. Raby has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Chaudoin, who posted 11 points.

Clarksville Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville Christian will face off against Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy, they will square off against Highland Rim Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season.
