Softball Recap: Curie Condors vs. Juarez Eagles

Curie put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Juarez Eagles 11-1. Fans of Curie have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout.

Curie got a massive performance out of Veronica Estrada, who scored two runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Gisselle Miguel, who went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and a triple.

On Juarez's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Ruiz, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Curie's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Juarez, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Curie will head out on the road to challenge Tilden at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
