Volleyball Recap: Porter Ridge Takes a Loss

Porter Ridge saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the South Point Red Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Point found their leader in freshman Ava Cooper, who had 23 assists and six digs. Cooper is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Porter Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Point, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Porter Ridge will face off against Cuthbertson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Point, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Charlotte Latin on the 23rd.
