Softball Recap: Ardsley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ardsley lost to Nyack back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Red Hawks with a sharp 10-2 victory. Considering the Panthers have won three contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Ardsley's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Nyack, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ardsley will take on Tappan Zee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nyack, they will challenge Sleepy Hollow at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
