Basketball Recap: Stanfield Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Stanfield won the last time they faced Imbler and things went their way on Saturday too. The Stanfield Tigers walked away with a 55-47 win over the Imbler Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Stanfield's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Imbler, they moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanfield will be taking part in a tournament against Salem Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Imbler, they will venture away from home to face off against Weston-McEwen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Weston-McEwen will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Imbler surely won't give up without a fight.
