East Bernard is 10-0 against Brazos since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Bernard Brahmas will face off against the Brazos Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Brazos took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on East Bernard, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, East Bernard turned things around against Alvarado on Saturday. They blew past the Indians, posting a 51-24 win. The Brahmas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Ashlynn Lemos was her usual excellent self, going 9 of 17 on her way to 29 points and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of East Bernard's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaya Thomas, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Brazos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 39-31 to Houston Math Science & Tech.

Brazos' loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for East Bernard, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Everything came up roses for East Bernard against Brazos when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 54-14 win. Does East Bernard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Brazos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
