Football Recap: Radford Comes Up Short

Radford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Waipahu Marauders, falling 63-6. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 76-7 to the Marauders when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Radford's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Waipahu, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Radford will challenge Nanakuli at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams will be up against the Golden Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Waipahu, they will square off against Moanalua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
