McKinney Boyd has gone a perfect 3-0 against McKinney North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The McKinney Boyd Broncos will take on the McKinney North Bulldogs in a tournament on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for McKinney Boyd and seven for McKinney North dating back to last season.

On Monday, McKinney Boyd didn't have quite enough to beat Prosper and fell 6-5.

Beckham Manley made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted over her last 12 contests. Olivia Locke also deserves some recognition as she stole her first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, McKinney North suffered their closest loss since February 23, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Horn by a score of 9-7. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

McKinney North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for McKinney Boyd, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

McKinney Boyd skirted past McKinney North 7-6 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Does McKinney Boyd have another victory up their sleeve, or will McKinney North turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
