Baseball Game Preview: Madison Comprehensive Rams vs. Dover Crimson Tornadoes

The Madison Comprehensive Rams will venture away from home to square off against the Dover Crimson Tornadoes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Madison Comprehensive has three straight wins, Dover has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Madison Comprehensive took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Shelby, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams won by a run and slipped past the Whippets 5-4.

Louisville hit Dover with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Crimson Tornadoes fell 7-3 to the Leopards.

Dover now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Madison Comprehensive, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Madison Comprehensive suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Dover in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
