Softball Recap: Groton-Dunstable Takes a Loss

Groton-Dunstable lost against Nashoba Regional back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders lost 14-7 to the Wolves. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridget Houle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Annie Apigian was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Groton-Dunstable's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Nashoba Regional, they moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Groton-Dunstable will face off against Shepherd Hill Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nashoba Regional, they will welcome Leominster at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
