Enochs won the last time they faced Ceres and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Bulldogs.

Kaylee Ruiz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Nico Gwin was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Enochs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in nine consecutive contests.

Enochs' win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Ceres, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Enochs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 9-1 victory against Orestimba on the 25th. As for Ceres, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Berkeley on the 25th.
