Baseball Game Preview: Pendleton Buckaroos vs. Redmond Panthers

Pendleton is 8-2 against Redmond since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Buckaroos will welcome the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. Pendleton is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Pendleton came into this matchup off a tough seven-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Pomona by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Buckaroos have suffered since March 18, 2025.

Meanwhile, Redmond entered their matchup against Silverton on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers lost 13-1 to the Foxes.

Redmond saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mathew Gallacher, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Gallacher has hit this season.

Redmond's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Pendleton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
