Basketball Game Preview: Goessel Bluebirds vs. Sedgwick Cardinals

The Goessel Bluebirds will face off against the Sedgwick Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Goessel will be strutting in after a win while Sedgwick will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with 12 losses in a row dating back to last season, Goessel turned things around against Udall on Tuesday. They walked away with a 53-44 victory over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Sedgwick played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Medicine Lodge, falling 60-27. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Goessel's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Sedgwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
