Volleyball Recap: Metro-East Lutheran Comes Up Short

Metro-East Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Collinsville Kahoks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Metro-East Lutheran's record is now 1-15. As for Collinsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Metro-East Lutheran will be playing at home against First Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Collinsville, they will head out to square off against Belleville West at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
